Mark 1/2 VR6 engine conv. Supercharger??

My friend recently bought a 1988 golf 1.3 on book and has vr6 conversion... For some apparent reason he wants to put a supercharger in it!! Can anybody tell me wat needs to be done to cooling systems etc in order to manage this upgrade>?

I'd imagine that as long as it has a decent radiator already, nothing more would need done in terms of engine cooling.

Just out of interest, by stating "1.3 on book and has vr6 conversion"... Are you confirming that the engine swap hasn't been declared to either the insurers or DVLA?

Storm can help you out. they are supposed to do some intresting stuff for the Mk2 with the VR6 or R32 conversions. also they have a twwin supercharged R32 engined Golf i believe.

Twin supercharged R36 is the one to go for. Traction might be an issue but thats a minor detail...
