Just thought i'd let all you guy's who are completely uninterested know, that i am out of hospital & on the long(ish) road to recovery.

Just curious how i get through airport scanners now. hehe

Q. Anyone else in this illustrious club? Do you have any metal in you, like the rod in my fused back & artificial metal (i believe) disc?

Watch out SEAC my sweet, summer is coming, and i'll be readyevil

Get well soon.

One of my buddies had some metal reinforcement, I got him a fridge magnet with those words on it.
Bu66er wouldn't stick to him, not ferrous apparantly. smile

Thanks fellas, it's certainly not easy at the moment. I'm on crutches and not allowed to lift anything heavier than a kettle!

I have just had the metal clips across my belly removed, about 17 in all i think. Scar is about 6"-7" long. Between that and what they did to my insides/back i feel totally useless. frown

BUT, I'll be back where's that Arnie smiley when you need it!!
And when i am we can do the 2 SEAC meet n piccie's, and then maybe something grander like a SEAC meet? That would be cool! yes

Right now though - no driving for 6/8 weeks!! Boo...grumpy

Take it easy, and to aid your recovery a can of beer is lighter than a kettle. Medicinal purposes! biggrin

The metal will be either titanium or stainless steel. If titanium your scrap value will be about £5-10k
