Just found this interesting interview on youtube about climate change. The host is well known in the US and i guess he is the equivalent to our Mark Thomas over here.

Who agrees with what these two people are talking about?

I've not watched the videos yet, but to be honest, i've always thought this whole global warming thing was a load of st.

Earth has survived billions of years. Any lifeforms and Earth itself constantly evolving to suit the surrounding environment and atmosphere.
Everything happens for a reason, we shouldn't try to fight it or change it. We cannot control the weather so why try?

So, no ad hominem here then. For a few posts it looked like True Believer Central had taken Christmas Leave early. Only a fking loon? Bit on the generous side there, hairy. Don't hold back next time. Then again, loon or not, you could also take a longer look at the science of MMGWT and realise it's not credible, but for one so young you we shouldn't expect too much.

I said nothing about global warming nor will I on this thread. I also didn't say anything about Tim Ball other than he picked the wrong radio show.

Alex Jones thinks that the US government carried out the 9/11 attacks. He also thinks that world leaders meet up and worship some kind of owl god. He's a loon or, rather, pretends to be to attract like minded loons to his radio show.

What can you say? There's nothing new to say about a scam based on junkscience, perpetrated by politicised advocacy groups, abused by politicians themsleves, and now in the hands of uninformed and unqualified pressure groups - plus the media (of course). To our True Believers, this doesn't matter.

At a guess, he is a particle Physics PhD student or recent post-doc, but not climate sceince and not long enough out of school to have studied anyclimate science for long enough to escape the propagandafest in 'those' circles.

Just a guess while awaiting confirmation or correction from hairy himself.

US government carried out 9/11

I've made no comment on that - my only reference to non MMGWT ecohype bullshine was 'loon or not' as I prefer to address climate science issues tather than perosnalities, but will always have time to address True Believer bullsh!t. Keep it up hairy I would enjoy some more entertainment tonight.

Where did I attack Turbobloke? I called Alex Jones a loon because, in my opinion, he is. I would attach the same label to anyone who thinks that the US government carried out 9/11 and brought down the world trade center with explosives/thermite regardless of their stance on globlal warming. Turbobloke called me a hypocrite, I disagreed.
