discovered the local korean epicentre... New Malden, not a million miles from me

so took the wife there to a nice place called Sorabol

x2 portions of fried dumplings
mixed seafood pancake
sweet and sour chicken
chicken in lettuce leaves, BBQ'd in front of you on the table
x1 Bibimbap with egg and beef
jasmine tea and orange slices to finish

highly recommended smile

Not just the local epicentre of all things Korean, it is the global epicentre outside of yer acshual Korea !

Much underrated food, sadly tainted by the rather unfair "did you eat dog" jibes.

I have had food from New Maldens native places before. Some of it is very tasty. I just don't like going there.

There is a very nice Korean restaurant in Staines called Ko Gu Ryo. I loved it, makes a nice change to Chinese and Thai. According to many of the Koreans who work at LG it is the best around, which says a lot.
