Anyone been?
It appears to be VERY cheap, and has pretty good snowfall. £250pp inc flights!
Also heard it described as Ibiza on snow, which doesnt fill me with condfidence!

I went boarding there a few years ago, I thought it was allright. Not exactly an up market area but we had a laugh and enjoyed the slopes!
Main thing was we had meals thrown in at the hotel, but unfortunately they were 'orrible. Buggered if I can remember the name of it though.

I went there twice and really enjoyed it, the hotels were cheap, food and drink was also good value for a ski resort as andorra's a tax haven. Both the hotels i stayed in were just over the road from the lifts.
There's a large enough ski area to keep you busy for a week and i think its now linked to the next resort so you can extend you lift pass.
I've heard it call Ibiza on snow but its not. There's a a few busy bars but its not full of drunks in the street etc etc.

I've been 2 or 3 times. It's great with a load of mates, but definitely not a family resort.
No shortage of bars, some interesting tax free shopping and a few decent restaurants.
I don't remember the skiing being overly challenging, but good none the less. The link over to Soldeu really expanded the area but it takes a while to link across.
The only thing I would say is some of the cheapest accommodation is up the hill out of town, and unless you're really on a budget there's better to be had.

We went to Les Deux Alp last year for Christmas week for £550, 7 days catered chalet Cracking resort IMO. That price was for 2 people.
Wife's cousin left yesterday for Mottaret (Meribel), £270, 7 days in a catered chalet. Heard good things about this place?
We went to Pas a couple of years ago but the snow was pretty w@nk. It seemed a very limited resort to me, just had kinda one side of the mountain to come down?? We ended up busing ot to Soldeu for the last few days. The place itself is not particularly inspiring either, and it's not as lively as it's reputation promises.

There were much cheaper offers for stuff departing Dec and early Jan but trying to get short notice holidays booked with 4 different employers wasnt going to happen!
We did also pay a £50pp suplement as we took a larger apartment.
Either way, its MUCH cheaper than what I've paid for other places in the past!
Should also add, those are some great deals you mention in your other post, but they were also "last season"
Have you seen whats happened to the Sterling:Euro exchange rate since then? everything is "relatively" 30% more expensive.

Blimey! where did she book it?Iglu and Last Minute tend to be the easiest way of finding the best offers from all the operators in one place.....
Handy hint of the day:
Find a deal via a 'broker' such as the above - give them a call, get them to divulge who the operator is, phone the operator direct and see what else they will do - it's easier to deal direct with the operator and it saves you phoning/internetting around all the different companies.
