S Type 2005 Front Passenger Seat

On my 2005 S Type 2.7SE, the front drivers seat can be raised at the front and raised at the rear to give a 'tilt' in either direction if required resulting in a great driving position.

The passenger seat only goes up and down as a whole, ie front & rear together. The switch seems different to the drivers side.

The passenger side position feels very flat, potentially even sloping forwards, resulting a feeling of sliding forward.

It would be great if the front of the passenger seat could be raised a little, perhaps even with packing washers under the front fixings?

Is it just my wife, or do other passengers report a similar feeling?

Well, John, seems that your wife's experiences exactly the same problem as mine. Mine regularly complains that moving the passenger seat backwards or forwards also means the height etc of the seat also changes, whereas this does not happen with the driver's seat. It sure pi**es her off, and me I guess! Incidentally, I did have an earlier S-Type (first series V8 4.0L) and for that car both seats worked identically and wify was happy!
