Performance leads
Discussion
Hi,
Since changing my standard old knackered leads for a set of bosch splitfire leads the rev counter seems to be dancing around (with the engine revs steady). A few other people have experienced this when changing to magnecor leads also but has anybody found a cure?
Some have said that changing the coil sorts it, well i changed the coil at the same time as the leads so that doesn't work.
Some have said that the different leads enhances a problem with the rev counter and have sent them off for repair - but i'm not to convinced that that works.
The leads are supressed as the magnecor leads are so i've also fitted new extenders from ACT.
Any knowledgeable electronic engineers on here that may know?
One last point is it normal in the dark to be able to see the leads inner cores flashing whilst running? - not arking to anything outside of the lead.
Thanks
Lee
