Veyron Vincero

Mansory mess with big Bugatti

In the past, Mansory's cars have not always proved PH favourites. The German tuner usually fettles Bentleys, Rolls Royces and Aston Martins, often for no apparent reason.

Not content with hacking away at Britain's finest the Mansory boys have now turned their attention to the million pound Bugatti Veyron.

Details of the Veyron 'Vincero' are scarce - it isn't even listed on Mansory's own website - but it has cropped up for sale on the website of 'Prestige Cars', an exotic car dealership from the United Arab Emirates.

They've managed to misspell 'Mansory', and have given away very few details about the car, but the photos do reveal some aesthetic tweaking. Black alloy wheels have been added and the car is now raw carbon fibre.

The interior gets matching carbon fibre treatment, with black and white variants used throughout the cabin. Even the roof and seats are trimmed in a matching carbon fibre-style pattern. Hmmm...

There are no details of any mechanical changes or associated performance gains - but how much faster do you really need this to be...

Christ, did they cover it in brylcreem too?

Interior isn't to my tastes but externally it's not too bad.

They should have changed the front and rear lights which date the design.

Not sure about the wheels, otherwise ok externally, interior is blingingly awful.

Lets hope its a one off to someone with more money than taste than an actual model.

Not as bad as their usual efforts...

I dont really like the Veyron, but the exterior looks alright, the interior looks like the inside of slappers handbag

The white C63 estate in the back ground is nice.

it's either a C63 with a very square bodykit, or a GL

This is the first Mansory car I actually like the look of, outside anyway. Interior 'styled' by Ray Charles.

I actually rather like it.

However, those interior door handles and the steering wheel are completely vulgar frown

I hate to urinate on your fire, but that exterior is standard on the Pur Sang isn't it?

Carbon fibre and polished ali, and the wheels match too.

All Mansory have done is added the wierd metal bit in the grilles and thoroughly trashed the interior.

Looks nice on the outside apart from the tacky Vauxhall style V on the bottom of the grill.

As if the outside isnt tacky enough, its hard to imagin that anyone with the money to buy a Veyron would want something with a chav bling interior like that. Good for Ali G only, back to design school I think boys.

Does anyone else feel this is a little... Rich, perhaps, given that this is Pistonheads?

Have to say, though, the Pur Sang was nicer than this, though I personally think the Veyron doesn't need to look any better than it does; not saying its pretty, but its one of those cars that's just so impressive technologically that it could look like a house and you'd still want one (known as the Impreza Effect). Then again I suppose not everyone sees it that way, and again, not everyone knows the definition of the words 'better looking' or 'improved design', apparently.

I have to agree with this point. The front lights look very 1990s now.
