Desert Island Pistonheads
Discussion
Taking a slightly different slant on Desert Island Discs, what songs would you have, and instead of a book, what one website would you like to access, (but not Pistonheads, too obvious), and what one luxury would you have?
For me the songs would be, (in no particular order).
1. Lucille. Jerry Lee Lewis.
2. Scenes From An Italian Restaurant. Billy Joel.
3. Here & Now. Del Amitri.
4. Vide Cor Meum. Hannibal Soundtrack.
5. Just My Imagination. The Temptations.
6. Overture, Marriage Of Figaro.
7. Symphony Of Destruction. Megadeth.
8. Harvest Moon. Neil Young.
The website would have to be Wikipedia. I can spend hours on that site learning useless s
te.
The luxury would have to be a drumkit. Ideal for thrashing out frustration, keeping fit, and storage of coconuts, melons and other assorted island fruit.

That's a point. Why didn't I think of this sooner?
You're stranded on a desert island, you can take 5 things with you. What are they?
1.) A boat
2.) Some oars
3.) A sail
4.) A map
5.) A Compass
SEE YA!
Doesn't make for wonderful listening, though, does it? You're stranded on a desert island, you can take 5 things with you. What are they?

I think I would concur with Wikipedia as the website as pretty much everything under the sun is on there and it would provide plenty of reading, even if the provenance of the content is somewhere east of dubious.

No FOOD? None, not even a seed.
Exactly, this is PistonHeads ffs
Who needs food when you've shed loads of Petrol?
Besides, there'd be no time for eating when you've a Veyron and 5 miles of asphalt all to yourself.
Sleep? plenty of time to sleep when you are dead, especially when you've a Veyron and 5 miles of asphalt.

Pity there isn't a female equivalent of Ray Mears... she could build me a nice house and get the grub too!
There is .... well, close enough, anyway... Thomasina Miers
