Following on from the satisfying sounds thread...

Turbine exhaust (!)

The interior of old aircraft - old metal, fuel, oil, vinyl, history. Some old cars smell like this too, it's feckin ace

Balvenie 21 year-old portwood single malt

Fresh chips from a deep frier

Gunpowder from a recently fired shotgun

Hot engine, hot brakes, hot oil, hot exhaust, hot rubber, new leather, whiff of clutch... we all know it...

Monte Cristo no.1

NOt anymore... but full bore 4 star petrol used to smell lovely!

This unleaded stuff this days just doesn't cut it.

And newly laid road tar.

And white board permanent marker pens. Not the ones that are smell free, but the ones that smell like they could get you well high given long enough to sniff them!!!

That smell just after its rained on a hot day.

The smell coming from the kitchen when your mum is cooking Xmas dinner (can't wait).

The remaining hint of aftershave on your clothes from a nice cuddle with my OH (keeping it clean for forum purposes)!

Don't know why but the smell of my dad's garage - he's always tinkering with engines and his rally car in there and it just smells great.
