Hi guys, I remember a while back I saw someone had a re trim, I think it was grey and yellow with stitching.

I want to have mine re done, with nice proper leather and stitching, as I think the current interior just doesnt have the nice luxury or relaxing feel to it.

I also want to change the seats for more comfy sports style ones like the ens whichw ere meant to be in the next run of Tuscan 2 Convertibles...the recaro style ones I think.

Do people have any more pics of re trims/seats and know of companies who do it well

Thanks

Mani

Was yours full leather spec, Mani ??? I quite like my interior....The Blue Vert (registered 2008)in the register bought by Peter Reid is Sparco seats (I think). Racing Green had one they refered to as the 2007 spec.

Dave & Chris (D&C Trim) did Mrs NTELs Tam in grey/yellow and did a nice job, NTEL put some pics on at the time. He got rid of the "Bison" leather used on Tams. You probably knew Dave and Chris when you were at TVR, they're ex-factory lads working in Bristol Avenue again.

Is the "Bison" trim leather or vinyl, it looks like the latter?

Hi Keith...It feels like that fake plasticy leather...I want that soft feel leather, luxury style.

when I was at TVR I never really knew many of the factory guys apart from Heath who looked after my car

and of course the usual suspects who are hated.

Other than that I worked a lot of time at Chiswick showroom, reporting to Oli, Yves and Nikolai and would occasionally spend time in Blackpool working alongside Ian Law who was head of marketing.

P.S. i felt so stupid when you pointed out the cup holders in the doors...I never realised it lol, works a charm smile

Don't know if you have access to the TVRCC site as there is a topic on there with some good pictures of D & C's work on a Chimaera

Mani - hope you are keeping well. I had all of my interior carpetting done earlier this year by A&R Pound in Baldock who did a good job. Dash area was v tricky so was done by Racing Green. All in - think it was about £650 and really improved the car.
