Right.

I've got a Rosemary hedge either side of the hard standing for our cars.

Some drunk st-head has walked past it and has either jumped into it or has been pushed by a mate, damaging it and generally ruining what has taken 5 years to grow.

Yesterday I noted that its got worse, i.e. someone has jumped into it again.

I'd like to 'discourage' this behavior and am after some suggestions. I'm happy to injure the next offender in a way that I am not legally accountable for.

Go on then?

seeing as the main stem will have been damaged put a big spike in it to support it

I am planning an institue/facility in the mountains far away (lets say Nepal for legal reasons) where a flock of birds can be trained to airlift local Gorillas from their zoo enclosures, said Gorillas will be trained to rape to death their target.

As I will not be the technical owner of the gorillas or the birds I will be in no way responsible for their actions.

In a legal sense you pay me some money as a gift, and very unfortunately, 6 months later someone who has wronged you gets raped to death by a bunch of flying gorilla.

It'll be how I make my fortune, just you watch.

Good call.

And easier to dispense VBRJ on someone with a punctured lung.

Just have to work through a way of making the spike stake secure so injured hedge jumper can't start hitting the cars with it.

After having my hedge jumped in I now have some heavy steel pipe driven into the middle of it to help support it.

Would come keen though should anyone jump in it again,. must get around to putting a warning sign up,........................

As kids, a load of us used to jump through garden hedges. A neighbour wound a load of barbed wire through their hedge at shin height.

We got the message.

I'd cement the bugger in. It won't budge a millimetre should something happen to fall on it.

Zero deflection of the cemented-in stake = more force absorbed by the object that falls onto it. whistle

I had the same happen the other week with one of my Thujas...couldnt work out why it had blown over with such calm weather, then realised some idiot must have pushed his idiot mate in to it.

4 years I've been growing these bds!

I like the barbed wire idea though.....

Hook it up to a car battery too, for good measure.

The OP will still need a plan B in case the Gorilla's are busy raping someone else.
