Photos of Our New Build - Minor Gloating Alert

I know you all like a DIY build project so I thought since it had snowed here and the house couldn't look prettier I'd stick some photos up for you all to get a bit green eyed over.

A bit of background first...

My wife and I are novices, however we've managed all aspects of this build ourselves. We drew the initial sketches and worked them right up to construction drawings, we selected the materials and did a lot of the construction work ourselves.

I was just getting all warmed up for reading about someone's interesting house build... and I'm not disappointed in the slightest (although I am slightly hungry now).

We've had a bit of a problem actually... Beofre we could start on the second fit we had the buildings regs inspector round on a surprise visit, he ran through and submitted his report before we could catch him... We got him on cctv though....
