Now that Christmas is all but over (now you know the day itself is always an anti-climax) thoughts turn to the new year, a new leaf, a new life perhaps?

So, resoltions and world/personal wishes for 2009?

My resolution is to see more of my Mum. This was my resolution for 2007 too, and I did quite well until mid 2008.

My altrusitic wish is for Mugabe to catch some nasty disease and die in plenty of pain. My personal wish is that Mrs B&B continues to lose weight as she has done (21 pounds in 6 months) because it makes her so much happier and confident and makes my life so much easier (and I get more sex if she feels like that).

Easy for me:

Hope the Mrs gets a job so she can buy all the damn handbags and shoes she desires,
Get the ECU on my scooby sorted so I can get her back on the road and on the track,
Keep my job,
Keep saving (reliant on above)
Take more holidays (relaint on above)
Remain healthy and disease free

+1 on Mugabe

Get Fit and Loose Weight
Stop drinking for two months.
IAM Bike course
Complete a Track day
Got a new job, so plough lots of energy into learning the new role.

And hope that everyone has a year of good things and happiness.

Think we all need it .

1: Go to the Gym, I know its a total cop out and everybody says it but I really think the gym 3 days a week could improve my race results (Downhill mountain biking)
2: Sort of related to the above, I got promoted to the Expert class in Downhill at the end of this year so i have to try and hold my own a class up.
3: First track day (looks to be happening in Febuary)

My girlfriend told me yesterday that her new years resolution was to have more sex (I have since clarified that it will be with me only) so thats good.

World hopes:
1) Mugabe out
2) Steadying of world economy
3) Banks start lending
4) Suicide bombers denied martyrdom by all religions
5) Withdrawl of British troops from current conflicts (Give them a rest, they have been at war for years, and knowing a couple, it's 24/7 for 6 months at a time)

Resolutions:
1) To complete first marathon in sub 3 hours (Ideally sub 2:50)
2) To not travel as much (106 flights with work this year)

I'm going for achievable stuff.. therefore for 2009 I shall :

1.) Become a father
2.) Become 30

Think that'll do me..

Oh, and we'll have world peace while we're at it..

Learn to spell
Go on a euro road trip in a <£1k car + Le Mans and the ring

Oh sorry about that.

This recession turns out to be short as some people are saying and things are looking up by next christmas.
Obama isn't too much of a tt and manages to sort out the mess the USA are in at least a bit.

- Start a business (not saying what just yet, I know it seems like a silly time to start one but I'm not dealing with credit crunched families but with schools).
- Quit the supermarket (I'm fed up with seeing the look of shock in people's eyes when I tell them I have a Master's degree).
- Hopefully find my own place to live.
- For world issues I too would like to see Mugabe dead. And I'd like to see our men and women in forces brought back from Iraq. Oh, and I'd like a General Election here as well.
