Electrical Drawing software

I have some electrical schematics to draw up.

I am wanting to know if there is a cheap, or free, easy to use program so I could draw them up?

Anything anyone can recommend. Preferably with electrical circuit symbols rather than electronic ones.

Have you considered visio? - not sure of cost but you can get templates for the electrical industry.

Failing that if you look around on Sourceforge there maybe some compiled apps that may work.

No the MS app won't do. Struggling with sourceforge. The two that seem to match up are no longer active!

Just downloading a couple of others then will give those a crack, think I have used smart draw before.

Can't remember if good or not.
