Just a small problem... I leave my bonnet unlocked in the garage just in case I need to get to the battery. Last week it was fine, but today I took the car for a drive and the round knob to lock the bonnet was incredibly hard to move, just for the first bit then easy.
I had a perfect trouble free drive and enjoyed the slightly drier weather. When I tried it again I had the same problem, hard to move from open, but once I managed to turn it it frees up. Any ideas? Oh and Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Here we go Nigel, are you feeling fit.
You need a 5mm Allen key, at the back of the knob is a grub screw, this grub screw has a spring loaded ball on one end, this sits in a dimple on a shaft, so when you lock the bonnet or unlock it the ball sits in this dimple and you feel the knob sort of locate, the thing is, this grub screw seems to screw it;s self in a bit, so with the Allen key, just unscrew it a little, this sounds simple but you have to be a bit flexible to do this, if you have a problem Nigel, just let me know.
