Anyone going to church over Christmas?

Me and the wife just got back from the local Anglican church - and very nice it was too! I lit a candle. I sang some carols. I gave some change to a good cause. I bumped into a few friends and neighbours. Shook the vicar's hand and walked home.

Church - very under-rated (especially on PH).

Normally in York Minster on Christmas eve.

Used to sing there. Normally a bit later. Have a few drinks, go to church have a few more.

Always good fun on Christmas Eve.

However I am surprised that I don't burst into flames when I walk in, therefore there is no God. Must be the case.

Going to midnight mass with the wife in a few hours, neither of us are religious but just fancied going.

Nope, there is just as much chance of me going to a Mosque as a Church. I'm not in the slightest bit religious. I only take part when it is polite to do so at the functions of friends or relatives, if someone gets confirmed, marries, or dies, the odd remembrance Sunday, that sort of thing.

Yes but the more you talk to them, the more time you waste. As in the end they will do nothing.

Yep! As believers we've been to the candlelight carol service last Sunday and will go to the service tomorrow morning too. We'll be there most Sunday mornings too.
