Have you prepared the kids presents ?

Being a relatively new father (my little boy is only 15 months old) I was wondering whether you wrap presents or have them opened and ready to play with ?

As a child I had mine opened and ready to play. Although the Mrs said she always had hers wrapped stating its more fun watching them open their presents and spending time with them building up the toys.
We compromised and went half way, they are wrapped but built up, (batteries fitted where need be and the wire things that you get in boxes have been removed)

Always wrap.

Taking the wire things off and putting batteries in is however going above and beyond.

In my experience babies are often as interested in the box or paper as they are in the present. SO wrap.

I just went downstairs to take my pills and I saw my pile of presents..........seems the big dirty Peado in the red suit has already come.

Go and buy him a copy of Razzle at the petrol station. That'll get him to go to bed.

Got back from the pub with small list of instructions and big pile of nibbly food to eat.

I have ran around like a fecker the past few days for gifts i honestly feel fecked i want to go back to work so i can rest,feel as if i have ran a marathon.Think i have a virus i got a sore throat and head feel like shoite however trying to dull it with ale.
