My OH got me a Bose SoundDock II for one of my pressies. "Great" I said opening up the box so that I could get it set up. While I was pulling out packaging from the box something caught my eye close to my right hand. Made me jump which in turn made my missus scream. It was a spider. Nothing to be worried about except my OH hates them. Took a closer look. Hmmmm. Unusual I thought. Quick check of country of origin. Mexico. Hmmm. I'll just google that I think.
yikes. A Western Black Widow of the female type. Now my missus is sitting in the car until I get rid. My son says kill it. I don't want to. Any ideas what to do with it. Do you think Edinburgh Zoo would want it. Without doubt the best pressie i have ever had.biggrin

Call the SSPCA.

Bit unfair on the poor thing to have made it all this way then to be killed for no reason.

SSPCA will come out and take it from you. They are a 365 operation.

Is it possible that your wife is a consummate actress and had planned an incredible 'accident' to bump you off,but you noticed before you were bitten?

Just a thought.

Merry Christmas!

I came home last night and there was a big spider in the bath.

I wouldn't have minded but he'd used up all the fking hot water.

And DON'T KILL IT. Put it in a tub that it can't escape from. Call the SSPCA.

That is so cool in a yikes way!
