Sherbert Flying Saucers!
Discussion
Anyone know anything about these??? My kids got some for Christmas from the on-line sweet shop "A Quarter of" - but they are terrible - fruit flavour sherbert (not the really fizzy type), tough rice paper, multi/bi-coloured - nothing like the "originals"! YUK!
I know the pukka ones are still available - somneone at work brought a massive tub in recently and they were ACE (I think they got them at some shop called Cosco or something?..or maybe Makro?)- so question is - does anyone remember the brand name of the proper ones???

.........They are artificially bright in colour......some "saucers" are made of two different coloured "discs"..and the sherbert is "fruity"! If I hadnt tasted the REAL ones recently I might have agreed with you!...the proper ones are still available (in fact I remember that Tesco used to sell them in sachets as well!) ...it's tracking them down thats the trick!

These recent imposters are the very poor substitute..........looks like I am going to have to do a trawl of the wholesalers until I can find the ones that one of my guys brought into work recently (we all agreed that these were the ONES!)SBDJ said:
Costco definitely sell the large tubs of the ones you are after, some of the guys from work do a Costco run every so often and usually bring me back a tub or two...
