Me again

Managed to cut a hole in my polycarbonate side window without any dramas but wonder if anyone has any hints about fitting the vent into the hole? It looks like it needs springing quite a bit to go in and I'm worried about it breaking. As well as the rim round half of the circumference of the vent there's a tab at each end of this rim which means it needs springing an additional few mm.

Anyone done it themselves?

Not done it yet.
General advice would be to make sure it's not cold when you try it. Plus some washing up liquid may help ease it in. (that doesn't sound quite the way I meant it)

Got em in in the end - they need a lot of springing . I ended up filing down one of the tabs a little to make life easier.

Just drilled a 82mm hole today and they went in without a problem.
