I am picking up the wife's new (to us) RR next weekend and I was wondering if there is anything I should look out for on it ?

55 plate
It has a full RR history (including front dif recall)
35k

I realise I have to check all the electronics (is the steering wheel adjustment motor a problem ?)

Is there anything else ?

Thanks

Frank

Have you already bought the car? If so, just enjoy it! If you haven't, then there are lots of things you should check, to start with:

leaky radiator (usually top 5 tubes)
all the electrics (I think steering column motor issue was fixed by 05), inc all the seat motors (this can take a while, there's lots to check!)
satnav (check it gives correct location)
ABS modulator connector (at rear of engine bay, connector can corrode requiring new modulator)
air sus works up and down properly
underbody damage
squeaky (knackered) suspension bushes
uneven tyres wear, esp on rear (may result from above bushes)
excessive wind noise at motorway speeds (often caused by plenum drain tubes)
leaks from the oily bits
low range, HDC (not that you can easily check the latter, except for the light/message coming on)
corrosion at bottom of side windows
service history
and all the usual stuff you would check on any car.

Great cars! Have fun,

Ruari
