Im off to use Ryan Air to get to Finland tomorrow and have not got the stansted express ticket yet, i know i can get one at liverpool st station but thats out of the way, i usually get on at Tottenham Hale Underground Station as its easier, but this time i have no printer and remember almost coming to blows with the jobsworth inspector last time with the print out of my ticket. So can i just buy it on the train and save myself some hassle or can i get it via ryan air and get it a little cheaper and just quote the ticket number or am i going to have the same issues with the inspector?

You don't need a printer. Book online with a cc and you get a reference number to type into the ticket machine after inserting the CC. It's really quite simple.

Go to Ryan air web site and buy your ticket there, it will only cost you £10.

you can buy oni the train, or at least I was able to getting onto it from T5 on the way back into London, no fines, just pay the ticket. Was quite pricy though, defo over £10 - wish I'd took the underground tbh!

Errr, the OP is talking about the Stansted Express, not the Heathrow Express!

How long are you going for? It is not that expensive to park at Stansted.
