So pleased with the Christmas pressie !

So just wanted to share how chuffed I am with the Christmas pressie for the T350. Santa brought me one of these:

Nice shiny JP Sports Exhaust

Fitted it today - what a nice and easy job for the post Christmas state ! (just bloody cold though)

Result in summary
- Sounds beautiful, just what I was looking for much more meaningful and throaty than the standard offering.
- Wonderful pops and bangs on over run, like someone left a box of fire crackers in there !
- Higher end of the rev range sounds somewhat Spitfire-esque.
- Now accelerates so much smoother, car really feels faster.

So all in all well chuffed this year

- Also as a bonus had a good look round underneath while on the hoist and insulated the oil temp sensor with some pipe lagging; plus noticed the car has a Hydratrak Diff fitted. What a result I never knew that when I bought it !

One final question for the all knowing forum:
What colour are the standard TVR Shocks ?

My car has red ones fitted, are they Racing Reds by any chance ?

Nah magic wand was broke, so diffuser had to come off

Good choice. I fitted one of these to my T350 about 2 months ago. It still makes me laugh like a small child when it pops 'n' bangs on the overrun.

My standard shocks are indeed red, with white springs. Taken off a 2004 model.

As far as I know they were the last ones off ACT's shelf. My CC bill says 450, which I will of course have to pay !?

Some JP exhausts are available direct from the "source" in macclesfield, www.jpexhausts.co.uk The T350 box is one that is available direct.They will fit it for you as well if you want.Simon.
