GoW2 - Does your weapon change when you crouch?

Hi,

Got GoW2 for xmas and have just started playing through the single player mode after downloading and installing the latest update.

Now it seems that when I crouch behind something for cover (button A) my gun changes to the pistol.

Does this happen to anyone else?

You sure you aren't gently pressing down on the D-pad at the same time?

Let me know how you get on online - I've never got into a game yet!

definately not pressing the control pad, I think my wireless controller is on the way out as the b button has started doing strange things in the dashboard.

not tried it online yet as my xbox live membership has expired
