Facebook advertising Is it a con?
Discussion
I have run several facebook advertising campaigns but I am highly dubious about its operation..
If you pay for x amounts of clicks you invariably get that response per day from a running campaign.
However my website analysis has proved something very strange.
Akthough your homepage will be 'visited' there will never be any visits to any other pages or your website.
This will conflict directly with the experience you have from other visitor sources and has made me wonder wether facebook advertising links are 'real' people or just an automated click from the facebook advertisers themselves.
Until someone from facebook or someone else can clarify I am suspending all facebook advertising until further notice.

I wouldn't waste your money. I doubt your average user ranks home security as one of their top priorities. If you pay for x amounts of clicks you invariably get that response per day from a running campaign.

I ran a very successful campaign on Facebook.
Admittedly it was only in Israel (a pilot), and oddly enough the majority of my traffic was from students (no suprise) and military personnel (huge suprise)!

That's nice to know Mark....I am eating a bacon sarnie, just in case you wondered

I too will be going to Tesco's later, however not to clean my car, which I should, but to return some shoes

I've never bothered with any pay-per-click things. What's your website? If you pay for x amounts of clicks you invariably get that response per day from a running campaign.
