1999 Clk 320

Hi I'm going to look at a Clk320 convertible tomorrow with 70,000 miles on the clock.
It's a 1999 on a T plate(which i think is a W208 model?)
Can anyone give me certain area's to look at, i believe rust on the rear wheel arch's and boot can be a problem?
Are they mechanically pretty sound, the ones i have viewed look well made,especially the roof compared to the BMW's.
Just any advice please would be really appreciated

I would advise making sure there is a decent service history and that the roof works as it should. They are expensive to repair/replace. Rust is a problem (or can be) the wheel arches are the usual place. Some may have been repaired by MB as part of their rust guarantee.

Make sure all the electrics work inc sat nav, slidy chair, aircon. Usual thing really.
