How to fit a front splitter
Discussion
1. Remove small bonnet.
2. Remove large bonnet.
3. Place the T,bar with the threaded tube pointing down towards the floor on to the 2 8mm threads that hold the big bonnet on. Do not put the bonnets back on yet.
4. Fit the front splitter on to the underneath of the car with some good sized self tapping screws and washers to spread the load, usually 5 across the back and couple up either side. How far the splitter comes out the front is up to you but it is usually only a couple of inches.
5. Cut the 8mm threaded bar (not supplied) to length so that when it is screwed into the T,bar there is enough thread left to put through the splitter, the locking nut and washer.
6. Drill 8/9mm hole through the splitter where the threaded bar touch's it.
7. Assemble all the parts and tighten all nuts.
8. Refit both bonnets to secure t,bar only when your sure you have the splitter in the right place.

Thanks for the Fibre-Ron, could you tell me what the difference is with the winglets and the splitter, which one of these is standard to the Tuscan and is one better than the other with regards to aero.2. Remove large bonnet.

The winglets were fitted to the Tuscan2-S as standard and the D shapped splitters were fitted to the Tuscan1-S. As I understand it these were sold as the 'sports package', from the factory.
As for "is one better than the other"
I have no idea. I don't know of any tests that were done,sorry.I had thought of this myself before i got the MK1 splitter, but wanted to keep it near original as possible.
I have seen the winglets fitted on a Mk 1 before though.
Just noticed the colour of your car (the best ever done) is it reflex green or purple? Mine is reflex green as I said the best colour ever done.

Spluffy, it's reflex purple and it's just about to b taken out for a drive in the sun....great day in London. I have seen the winglets fitted on a Mk 1 before though.
