SparkyJohn...I'm here.

always around somewhere. Drop me a line if your after something we have or would like me to find you something.

All day tomorrow I am available on my mobile - 07970 530890.
If you miss me or I am on the other line leave me your number and I will ring you back.

I've just got back from Scotland this evening (440 Miles in a Cerbera 4500...it was emotional!)

But great fun

I am busy updating our website and replying to emails right now and thought...I know I'll will see what has been going on in the last 24 hours on Pistonheads!

thanks for the post

OK, Great Slightly for future reference at the moment as it's pending the succesful outcome of a business deal, but I'm thinking of a T350 or Tamora.

If you were showroom based I'd have dropped in for a looksee as I'm in Notts next week.

I'll give you a call if/when I'm ready to push the button, cheers.

Oi ! Not the strongest sales pitch I've ever read
I'd heard/read positive reports and the local dealership decided that giving me 10 minutes to discuss possibilities was too much like hard work so I thought I'd check out the independent option.

Look at the thread a couple of weeks ago to see how many people wished him congrats on his first year as an independent... should put any doubts to rest

oops...sorry Mike, glad to see you sold your Chimaera to a fellow pistonheader!

I will get the beers in for you at the next TVR/Pistonhead event we are both at or sort you out a treat on your next TVR

Usually pretty good at getting email fired straight back sloppy and I'll take it on the chin and improve

Anyway just to say if there's anything that I missed with anybody then email/ring/letterbomb it over to grab my short attention span...

Always been the same it's a sales thing I think ...get the next week/day planned out ..things to do.

Then 10am the next day someone rings me up and says "do you want to buy this TVR?? it's for sale today or I am part excchnaing it to X garage", run for keys, view car, get bankers draft bring car back to get it ready for sale...ten missed emails/call ....crikey it's 10pm at night, oops din't tell the wife I was going to be late...dinner in dog.

Next day 9.30am "Can I see the Cerbera for sale that's just come onto your website this morning?"

...Yes certainly, frantically running around trying to locate the service book....customer browns my trousers on the M1 at high speed then says ...I'll buy it now only if I can have it Thursday...Okay

oh no it needs some work doing to it..

I hope that helped give an insight into selling TVR's!

Right I'm dredging my inboxes as we speak, full email bombardment comencing...

i think i was one of james's first customers when he set up JA Autosport last year and i was impressed with the way he followed up each email promptly and with full answers. Even more impressive was the distance he travelled to show me his Chim. I was happy to buy from him as some of the independants i tyre kicked couldn't spot a genuine customer with a pocket full of readies a mile away!
