Decided to not get a new TV.

Instead we are looking at projectors. We are on a budget so the full HD ones are out (for the moment).

Been looking at the Optoma HD65 http://www.dixons.co.uk/product.php?sku=187050&amp.... Anyone got one?

Also if anyone knows of a good alternative for circa 500 sheets then please speak up!

We need to connect a Humax HD recorder (HDMI), a standard (not Bluray) DVD home cinema (HDMI) and a Wii (Component). I will probably have to get a HDMI switch but that's no probs. What's the longest run of HDMI you can do before needing repeaters?

Cheers all.

If your on a budget check reviews for lamp life and replacement cost.
My Infocus X2 was cheap but the lamps only lasted a few hundred hours each.

Have you looked on the Gadget Show website? They tested these a little while ago

Thanks guys.

The in-laws have got the Infocus X9. The lamps last 3000 hours in eco mode, same as the Optoma, but cost 3 times as much as the Optoma lamps!

Anymore info or things to look out for?
