New EU presidency, hope for MMGW and lisbon treaty?

Picked up a couple of interesting snippets listening to R4 earlier and did some extra reading on the Internet when I got home...
New EU presidency starts soon, Czech Republics turn.
Only reason its remotely interesting is thier president is a chap named Václav Klaus,

Hes a bit controversial for a number of reasons, best of all he thinks MMGW is a crock of crap, and wrote a book called Blue Planet in Green Chains.
He also thinks the Lisbon treaty is a bad idea he also isnt afriad to speak his mind.
Doubt anything much will change but it'll be good to get someone who will speak out against MMGW in a high profile position.
