Can't find a link anywhere, but in the Times yesterday, Clarkson voted the Vette ZR1 as his car of the year. No mention of cart springs, and just a small dig at build quality. Even acknowledged that it goes round corners better than just about anything out there. Now perhaps those tts who bleat on about American handling will STFU.

That knock on the head when he fell off his scooter in Vietnam must have done him some good.

I remember digging up an article from the mid 90s showing how a C4 basically destroyed a Supra around a race track.

This is, of course, much better.

Frankly, for their time and amongst their peers, the Corvettes have always been great cars. I lost count of the cars I blew away with my humble C4 Vette between 1994 and 1997 - sad thing is they all probably still think they were dissed by a Ferrari so what ya gonna do? For me, the greatest thing about American cars is blowing the doors off cars who think you can't.
