Need a net connection at home and as I don’t have a BT landline I am looking for a short term pay as you go package.

Does anybody know any good packages? So far I have come across Three’s and Vodafone’s pay as you go packages. Does anybody have any views?

I have a Three USB modem for my laptop. It's Ronseal. So long as you only need browsing and email, it will be fine.

My dad needed this, staying in a cottage for 3 months, no BT line.

Got him a 3 dongle (£50) then 3GB data (£15, lasts a month). Its pretty good speeds if you can get HSDPA or 3G. But if you go to 2G then your going to wait along time for anything.

Check your coverage and see what you get speed wise. Apart from that its good hardware/software. Does what it needs to.
