Ok so him and Gordo probably agreed that he should keep out of the limelight but I've not heard a whisper from him about the finacial troubles of the past six months.

Will he wheel himself out for the next election or does he simply realise what a lucky escape he had?

Having fixed the UK's ills in his 11 years in power, he is now turning his intention to give Israel and Palestine the same long term future prosperity that we are now enjoying.

Isn't he the 'middle east envoy' (whatever that is) and coining it in doing lectures.

He's also expected to become the first President of Europe if the lisbon treaty every gets ratified.

He was in charge whilst Gordon was messing up the economy and in many ways has more to be guilty of than GB himself.

I suspect it will take a few decades before he is tarnished with helping cause the severity of this recession.

Then, after that, with his knickers still on the outside as befits superheroes like BLiar and Meltdown brown, he'll become President of the EU, and save the planet from climate change in his spare time.

As William Hague once famously said in the HoC (it even had Microbrand in stitches), we can imagine Gordon's dropjaw slamming to the floor as Tony's presidential EU motorcade sweeps into Downing Street, the fake smile for the press, and then Gordon's first words once inside Number Ten..."when are you going to move over and make way for me?"

In a perfect world, yes.

Politics is far from that IMHO.

If I was in his position, I would have probably done the same tbh.

Me first is the rule in modern day politics.

It's better this way......fingers crossed, we'll see the back of Brown forever. Can't see him leading the opposition; can't see him as a backbencher.

The only place left for him is in the Unions.......I bet even they won't want him!

Just a shame he'll get his PM pension for life.....he will never experience first hand the ruination his economic "policies" have brought about.

I'd be surprised if he gets mentioned much in history at all, other than as the person who put the building blocks in place for the biggest UK recession of the age.
