Not as sad as forsaking GENUINE improvements in road safety and reductions in casualties as opposed to making a quick buck.
Hampshire have one or more of these at present, out to catch the naughty bikers
I posted a thread as I couldn't believe it myself here www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=10&h=&t=55292

Whatever.......
if we saw our medical staff taking it esay in a shaded spot by the roadside, day in day out or they failed to turn up as we bled to death in the street, we wouldent put up with a protest of; "sorry healthcare cut-backs wed,' love to dress your wound of course we would, but sadly we're without dressings or plasters to do any thing,
and anyway i'm now also in the wrong sector anyway and wish to become a plumber" how long would that last, answer; see the firemen.

Lets see, go out and do some proper policing ie; catch some villains=sitting on a bike and scanning oncoming motorists like so much shopping on a till at sainsburyrs hmmmm, tough one that?
If he's got anpr then it's actually a good weapon for catching crooks. Believe it or not, burglars and the like also use cars. Yes really. It's a nice easy way to catch them when the index flags up. They normally don't have docs and the sooner they are dis qual the better as they get bigger sentences for that than the crimes they commit.
