I'am sorry, but that is going no where near my R8, looks like a chaved up astra.....(if its true of course)

NO no no no no! me to, i wouldnt put that any where near mine either, but i wouldnt mind the bonnet like the one off the pontiac G8!

Now your talking, looked into it a while back, they also do some nice reverse vented ones, to expensive to ship from Aus...

I thought a body kit should make the car look better not worse. How bad does the front look now? who ever makes it.

Rear exhaust I like.

Front is worse without the front fogs.

Some of those reverse vented bonnet's look good though ..hmmm

A decent bodyshop can alter the standard bonnet to create those type of vents (has them done on my first car many years ago)

Also made a big performance difference with the extra air and cooling for the engine.

Depends very much on the car - for a standard vxr8 bonnet vents are purely cosmetic. Even with a turbo you need to add proper cooling fins to the units for the air to make any difference.

i dont want the vented bonnet for performance, i just think it would my my black r8 look alot meaner!! i wonder how much it would cost to get one over?

I like the rear, very neat and smooth. The front just looks like std but with fog lights deleted for air intakes. Bet it sounds interesting!!

When I did them on mine it was purely for looks however it had a big trade off in performance, probably as it was an open induction kit under the bonnet maybes the extra air flow and cooler temps helped quite a bit.
