How do you add photos to these threads, I have some great ones of what I found in my induction kit when fitting a 52mm throttle body at the weekend and want to share it with the rest of you!!

Do you have anywhere to host them? If not you need to set up a Photobucket account (or similar) and upload your photos. With photo bucket you have four boxes with a code in them. Left click the bottom box (it will automatically copy) and then paste that code into the thread. Your photo will then show on the thread.

Right then here goes for a test of the photographs - Thanks Ganglandboss. I have joined Photobucket simply to show you all the state of my induction filter I took off the other day to fit my 52mm throttle body! To say I was surprised is an understatement, I found a thick icing like layer of black crap all over the inside of the filter together with stones and twigs! How all this lot found it way up the induction tube around the bend and into the induction chamber is anyone guess. However, it does show you why you have a filter in the system rather than sucking it straight into you engine!!!! Once cleared off by using a toothbrush and WD40 painstakingly for 30 minutes or so the car sounded so much better with a real roarty roar to it again! Warning anyone that tells you that your induction kit does not require regular maintenance or cleaning is lying!!! I kind of expected it to be cleaned every time it went in for one of those expensive services, but it looks to me that it has been neglected for some time. Happy New Year and enjoy!

Lamb Jiblets Yellow Stuff pads arrived today so will be fitting the fronts tomorrow, you can come around and help with the rears if you like (as you have the tool), providing that is if you are not too busy building boats!

will have to see mate, just move into new house, still a building site as did my back in just as i completed so running behind... not sure i've got the luxury of days off to do TD's smile

the bonus is i've got a new 'bat cave' for the liz once i've emptied it of building materials so looking forward to getting it tucked up & giving it some TLC (like sorting resistor pack!!)

if i can't make it maybe we should jsut catch up for a spin sometime? I'll deffo be doing the summer Combe day smile

Pete, these Yellowstuff pads are really good. No squeal and are 10 x better from cold than OEM ones! Nice hard pedal and awesome stopping power! Pagids are twice the price! Did the fronts myself, but was going to be out this weekend so Westovers fitted the rears for £30 as they were doing my tyres yesterday (£493).

Will definitely do the summer Coombe trackday, not going to blow my money on the one in February as it could be a bit cold and damp - I know I'm a big puff, but I am struggling to keeping it in a straight line on the daily commute at the moment!

Would you be interested in a dyno day I am trying to organise at the moment?
