May require a service maybe even a rebuild? Though these engines do sound a little like a sewing machine.

It has ONLY 60,000 miles on it!?! thats quite a lot of mileage i thought?

Wonder when it was last rebuilt?

Hmmm, hard to tell from that for SO many reasons... what's it like idling once warm? Or was that a warm start? What's it sound like under load - are any of the chain rattling/dodgy noises from the bottom end? How much oil's spraying out of the exhaust while they're filming the engine? When it hits high revs, how wacky is the fuel:air mix from worn throttle bodies? Etc, etc.

But with a 3 month warranty - that's "interesting". You'd certainly hope it's been rebuilt at least once before - wonder when...

Could be fun to get rebuilt as a 4.3 and then do a quick switch. Although, for that money, you could have an LS lump putting out more power, if with a different character...

i think the speed six lads are just not happy with the speed six engine !i think the ls engine is more for the chim or griff .just sell up and get a good griff or chim 5l .

Looks like an early one maybe 2002, the engine sounds st.

My advice is to buy it, then fork out about 10,000 and get a Dulfords 4.0L RR upgrade/rebuild, ACT air box, Nitron shocks, and alloy rad.

Maybe then it's value for money cos you'll have a 4.0L Tamora at around £15,000.

im playing games , i love the tamora but its just the engine which puts me off .
