Sadly, I think you are right. My mate will be voting for them and when I told him I would be voting Tory, he said, "Why, you're not a blue blood are you. My old man voted Labour and I always have."

Two thirds of voters will vote for a particular party because their family always has. It's than single third that's important as it can go either way.

A significant number of people will vote for them because they believe that they represent their interest better than the other parties. Perception rather than reality is what counts.

Because labour ensure they give cash benifits to non working labour voters and millions in regional grants, to marxist councils who toe the party line and it ensures that the corrupt labour bribe system is continued intact.

1. Fathers voted labour so they would vote labour.
2. People who just don't give a toss and are on the dole tend to vote who ever they see in government at the time.

The Labour administration in 1978 believed the introduction of ID cards would be “unacceptable” and “objectionable” in the fight against illegal immigration, confidential documents released today show.
