Is it just me,i seem to be going through them at the rate of about one a week yikesI was using the gillette fusion but i found it no better than the old mach3 which still only last a week frown

So im thinking of using disposables as they seem far cheaper,or is ther another solution?

Anybody else suffering from dull blades

I picked up an 8 pack of gillette power fusion jobbies last night on my way round the shops. Chuckled when I read the packet 'lasts up to 6 months'...

Yeah, if you live in a hole and happen to be called Osama rolleyes

Even worse... they went through the checkout and they were very nearly twenty quid yikes

Those, a bottle of vodka and a couple of bottles of wine and my 'little shop' cost me over a hundred quid. headache

Safety razor.

Razor costs about a fiver, blades are around 8p each.

Never had a problem myself. Used one since I started needing to shave.

I buy disposable blades as they are far cheaper. Gillette Fusion/blah/whatever have a huge mark up. Buy cheaper ones, change more often, save money, have a better shave!

Keep the razor blades on top of the radiator. Keep them dry. Last longer.

Bought a Braun electric razor around two years ago, all I've needed for it was a replacement foil. Much better.

you can get the equivalent of mach3 triple bladed razors in "pound shops" for .....£1 for 4 blades ; 25p each and they last about the same ( 1 week for me ) - they are just as good , made in India or China

'King of shaves' gel seems to work well and my blades appear to last longer aswell. A far superior shave than some very expensive well known brands.

Electric is the way forward. You can do it in front of the TV or while surfing PH!

My Mach 3 blades last ages, but then I only shave once or twice a week.

What do you mean, properly? biggrin

I don't purposely hack my face to bits hehe

I take great pride in a nice shave. I get a nice hot flannel and let it rest while I'm in the bath, then exfoliate (yep, I know... but I am a modern man) and then lather up and shave twice. Then whack on some moisturiser.

Any decent razor and it feels great for a couple of days. Safety razor, it comes out gash and I end up with paper stuck to bits of my face!

yes

However, they can be lethal on scrotums. I found this out on Christmas Day after I 'nipped upstairs to charge it up'.

Buy a bag of decent disposable ones Use once or twice and bin. Still be loads cheeper than wha you are doing if they go blunt that quick.
