Travel insurance...

Hi all,
I am currently searching for travel insurance. My breakdown cover etc is with the AA, I have checked their website and travel insurance for two people to go snowboarding for a week is £39. That seems quite high to me, anyone have any ideas/experiences of alternatives?

I found them to be very competitive from past experiance. I even had to use the cover earlier this year. Small price to pay when you consider my hospital bills totalled over 15,000 euros.

Depending on how many trips you do to make it worthwhile, but AMEX is supposed to be one of the best.
It comes standard with the charge card, and provides cover for every cardholder (I have 3 suplimentary holders all covered)
Although not tested it, apparently it will cover all medical expences of any incident on a trackday or even at the Nurburgring.
Defo also covers winter sports etc.
Also have tested the lost luggage, room booking stuffups, thieft etc, you just put expences on the card, and by the time you are home they will have credited you back!
The card fees is GBP300 but as stated, that covers anual multi trip travel for the family, business lounge access and lots more.
