Removing decals

Halp and advice please. I want to remove some after market decals (go faster stripes) from a car I have just bought. They seem to be fairly well stuck on...what's the best way of getting them off?

White spirit and a bit of patience.

Use a heat gun or hair dryer, they will pull off alot easier then tar and glue remover.

Either wait until summer, park it in the sun for a few hours on a hot day and then peal or use a heat gun. Either will heat things up enough to soften the glue and make pealing easy.

Just stripped 3 transits covered in company stickers using a kettle or 20 of hot water................
