From what i can see, Israel does not have a primary industry, so where does the money come from for all the weapons? Does it all come from America, or am i missing something?

They get good credit terms on F15's and tanks as I understand.

The Palestinians on the other hand get all their money from us (or the EU to be more precise).

There was talk that Arafat died with a personal fortune not far off $1 billion. Wonder where he got that?

I'm sure Britain give them more than their fair share of "aid" as long as their buy their fair share of arms in return.

In addition to tech & agriculture, the Uzi & Desert Eagle are both Israeli exports:

And loans from the US, of course.

Israel makes their own Tanks, the Merkava, made specific for their needs against their enemy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkava

And they make and export most of their light armor

The F-15 where sold under the Peace Fox foreign sales project. What the T&C's are, will be somewhere on the net, but I need a beer so don't care atm.

We should set up our own PH state, identify some common enemies with countries with lots of cash and sit back waiting for the arms shipments and bags of wheat?

Taken from the Washington Report of Middle East Affairs

The U.S. aid relationship with Israel is unlike any other in the world," said Stephen Zunes during a January 26 CPAP presentation. "In sheer volume, the amount is the most generous foreign aid program ever between any two countries," added Zunes, associate professor of Politics and chair of the Peace and Justice Studies Program at the University of San Francisco.

He explored the strategic reasoning behind the aid, asserting that it parallels the "needs of American arms exporters" and the role "Israel could play in advancing U.S. strategic interests in the region."

Although Israel is an "advanced, industrialized, technologically sophisticated country," it "receives more U.S. aid per capita annually than the total annual [Gross Domestic Product] per capita of several Arab states." Approximately a third of the entire U.S. foreign aid budget goes to Israel, "even though Israel comprises just…one-thousandth of the world's total population, and already has one of the world's higher per capita incomes."

Hugely informative there. Africa gets $1 billion worth of free condoms every year to cover their guns with.

IIRC The Intel "Core 2" architecture was designed in Israel.
Given that the IP now supports both Mac and Vista, I'd say that the royalties for that are pretty significant.
