Well I just got a nice titanium watch for Xmas from the wife.
I have to admit to being a watch person, so was very happy with my present.
But I have been reading this forum more and more and on the spur of the moment, just ordered another watch! What???
I feel a collection coming on due to your influence!!
Not expensive watches mind, as there are so many reasonable ones out there.
So I now have three decent watches already and need, I think, a display case with the fourth on it's way from Werners!
This could build up to an expensive conclusion as I suspect in the middle of any reasonable collection, there should be at least one of the "High Enders"???

Know the feeling. I have a watch for every occasion, now. No high enders at the moment as I don't like the idea of (1) accidentally damaging a decent watch (2) paying the price of a reasonable watch to get it serviced. Might get a Sinn Black, mind. I have an itch and I think it will get scratched next year.
PS Which Werners? I have three now. I love the different styles.

My first Werners watch is the - R4SL Pilots Alarm Chronograph.
Nick has already replied to say it will be sent ASAP!
I know this sounds corny, but I think I will get tempted by quite a few of their watches.
I had to resist adding at least two others to this first order!!
So I am going to try and keep it down to one a month!
But it is a new month tomorrow!!
So who has the largest collection?

R4SL is nice, but they're all pretty much the same with very minor changes. Makes it hard to decide which to choose!
I am tempted by one of those stupidly chunky divers watches. The black one with the cage. It's a watch you can hit people with.

I love the werners watches, although i don't own one myself, my mate bought one for chrimbo and when handling it, it felt very well built and sturdy, easily worth the £70
Don't start collecting, it can be addictive, once you buy one you'll see another, and another, and another.

BTW there is a guy who lurks on most watch forums who has a HUGE collection of rolexes, he has nearly 500 i think.
Thanks,
Andrew

Lots of Breitlings!
My old boss was in the pub the other day showing his new Breitling off!
I could feel like the movements on the back of the case, it was like a little vibrating feeling.
Is that normal on Breitlings?
Sorry to hijack the thread, just seemed like a good time to ask as you have quite a few, and the one in the middle looks quite similar to his!

Thats typical for watches with a Valjoux 7750 inside - usually referred to as a "wobble".My old boss was in the pub the other day showing his new Breitling off!

Its one of the reasons I don't really care for 7750-based watches. Though to be fair I haven't had a decent look at an IWC, to find out if their movement is sufficently far fromthe original to eliminate it.

I love Breitling, and a Super Avenger would be my "high end" watch I think.
Although that Super Ocean Heritage is very tempting!
Damm! this year is going to be expensive me thinks!!
