Far be it that I should question the great Nick Park's attention to detail but Im sure on the back door of the little A35 the "Austin of England" badge is back to front or am I the only SOG to notice! figure I know that before I have asked............

Apparently there are lots of "errors" that creep into their animation and people email Ardman at length about them. They often leave them as a bit of a game of who can spot what plus the reality is that the budgets are so small that they can't afford to reshoot a sequence for something minor.

Had the doubtful pleasure of driving both an A35 van and a Standard Ten van in my time. Not something I really want to repeat with either vehicle.

TBF, the OP is referring to the A35, but several of the other W&G films have been repeated this last week, I think MK4 has come in mid thread and is commenting on one of the other W&G cars.

Thats fair enough but I'm pretty sure that the cars used in other W&G films are also A35 vans, definitely the Were Rabbit and Wrong Trousers. Nick Park is an owner and thought it would suit Wallace. Animated characters rarely change their clothes so I couldn't image Wallace would slowly work his way through the classic Austin catalogue.
