REason I asked is we've got 2 & their getting a bit wobbly. It's not a bit that gets tightened during the build. We're not great lumps, and the chairs are both under a year old.
I think it's the main pole that slots into the legs/base - there's a little bit of play which become half an inch by the time it's knee high. Ikea ask me to bring them in for inspection, but as we're in Reading its a pain as 90 mins each way.
I dont recall them being like this when we 1st got them last year- bit disapppointing really. They were about £100 a go.
