Can any one give me details of, or a link to a mod that provides an external air supply to the to the heater matrix. I have seen a photo showing 5 holes drilled into the top of the fibre glass box that contains the heater matrix, and I presume a foam rubber seal sits between that and the cut out in the bonnet. Are there any mods required under the dash board to stop the fresh air bypassing the matrix, or to the bonnet itself?

Is there much point? The wedge cabin is hardly hermetically sealed so getting fresh air isn't difficult. TVR themselves seem to have realised this and instead moved to having the heater recirculating the cabin air for faster heating... although 'Cold' is an abstract concept in a wedge cabin hehe
Some wedges do couple the heater box to the bonnet as you describe; you need a good seal to keep fumes from being drawn in and even then in slow traffic it can get a bit whiffy as fumes escape from the rear of the engine bay and get drawn in anyway.
You shouldn't need to alter anthing under the dash - and anyway wedge heater stripdowns are not for the faint-hearted yikes

There are plenty of under-bonnet shots around on PH and Wedgepages that should give you some idea.
