Anyone on a tighter budget, I have a 2007 LS2 from a vxr8 with 17,000 miles on it.
As new, swapped for LS7 so its spare. Cost £2200
Got some pics if anyone is interested too. Ill post a classified soon.
I can provide a spark table and fueling map for 360rwhp which was 40rwhp more than stock LS2's at vixpy's dyno.
Engine has roller rockers too.

I'd have thought that 9k for a genuine ls7 was a good price as well but I haven't checked prices for quite some time. Last time I looked that was the sort of price you would spend on a crate engine (long engine). By genuine I mean titanium rods, stock crank and square port ls7 heads with hollow titanium valves etc. As opposed to a 427 ci built in a ls7 block with older style heads and more 'ordinary' components.
Here are the specifications of these engines.
The price was 18000 euros plus VAT including everything except:
-exhaust system and headers,
-clutch and flywheel,
-oil tank for dry sump and all that is necessary to fit it in an Ultima.
I had the chance to visit their office and workshop : splendid ! But expensive...
Capacity 427 ci / 7.0ltrs
Configuration Cam-in-block 90° V8
Weight 180 kg
Dimensions 780x580x600 mm
Maximum RPM 7,000 rpm
Maximun Horse Power 550 BHP (unrestricted)
Maximun Torque 700 Nm
Engine management MOTEC
Features Dry-sump
Already run-in
Water pump
Oil pump
Optional features: Clucth and clutch cover
Alternator
Intake system: new intake manifold
Wilson "4 butterfly" - mechanical throttle
Restrictor : 4x ø34mm
FlyWheel + damper: Specific tune with ATI damper
( driving the water pump + oil pump )
Quarter Master fly wheel
Fuel system: fuel ramp with fuel tank return
Oil system: Internal oil circuit modified
Dry sump with external Katech pump
Oil pump driven by tooted belt
Vent circuit modified
Cooling system: New water pump without thermostat
air bubles removal circuit modified
Valve-train: new timing pulley
Katech valve-train cover
Ignition: NGK racing spark plugs
Thermal insulation around coil wire
ECU: MOTEC with designated wire loom
Happy new year Kyle...and everybody after all :-)

Spatz when you call you might inquire at to which Motec is installed. The base unit is the LS box, non squentcail, minimum data logging no traction control retail about $2000. Most likley it has a m800 which has every trick in the book and retails at $4800. While I am at it I might add that several of the componets listed are of very high quality and exspensive. The valve covers FOR ONE RETIAL AT ABOUT $700 and are there to allow the use of after market shaft mounted rockers. The wiring harness is also several hundred in the end at 9000 BP this could be a very good way to attain a high spec LS7. lEE
called today charles was out of lunch and then run out of time, french have at least 2 hours lunch...............
anyway looks to me that this ls7 engines have some nice bits on them and it all depends how much pressure there is. it is quite simple if you have 30 engines (55 with the ls2) then what you really want is to sell them quick that means cheap, so if they are really 18k now, it only a matter of waiting these are the market rules, use them.

That's why I asked for a better price and ...no reply.anyway looks to me that this ls7 engines have some nice bits on them and it all depends how much pressure there is. it is quite simple if you have 30 engines (55 with the ls2) then what you really want is to sell them quick that means cheap, so if they are really 18k now, it only a matter of waiting these are the market rules, use them.

But I was one of the first to contact and visit them. I agree, be patient, prices should decrease.
By the way, lunch is only half an hour in France but then we spend more than an hour with our
wife (girlfriend, boyfriend?)...

ok the offer from them is
We sell the LS7 block with dry sump, oil pump, water pump, injectors, coils, throttle body, fuel ramp, alternator and flywheel for 10.000€.
For 13.000€ we sell the block as describe previously with a DTA S80 ECU and the engine wire-harness.
I think this a not so bad offer, but I am not an expert, what are the necessary modifications to make it usuable for the ULTIMA ?
here the pics that I received from Charles:
I also have learned that these engines were supposed to go into a nascar car alike racing series which has been cancelled and therefore
these engines are now for sale. I wonder if the manifold can be converted back to drive by wire ?
