I have just removed the centre section on my car.

The bodywork had been pre-fitted by the factory, so I removed all bolts, drilled out the rivets, and crawled under the dash to remove the UJ bolt, and steering wheel.

Then the fun began....

The dash was sprung right under the chassis rail, and it was a b*****d to get it loose - I was concerned about the amount of force I was having to use, in case of damage - maybe there is a technique to it...

Anyway, it's done now, and I will soon be starting on my instruments and wiring etc.

Happy New Year to all,
Regards

Paul,

The only pics I took were of the bolts that secure the top.

I didn't take anything of the chassis rail, where I had the problem.
What sort of pic are you wanting ?
