Having bought the westfeild a few months ago im now looking at tyres.
- It came with a set of Yoko advan A032's which need replacing as there down there limit.

I posted another thread here but maybe i would have been better posting it here.

Tossing up between the R888's A048's and other popular choices, but also keen to get the right size (width) for the car so as not to over tyre it.

Car is for mixed road and trackday use, estimated at around 600kg and 130bhp.

Im looking at similar and have limited experience myself. I know the 888 is one of the best on the market but tend to wear quite quick.

I also have similar power/weight (130ish & 475kg)

The 888's wont let you down, pretty good in the wet to as we found out during a 6 hour event at Mallory during our wonderful summer ?

The 048's are of course a class act but at a premium price.

Yeah, seams about right..

- Its hard really to know what there really like in the current weather, but how would the r888's compair to the A032's i have currently? Even on the warmer days i seamed to stuggle to keep heat in them with them at around 20psi (cold temp).

Theres also a change i can get some part-used A048's on 5.5inch allycats. Although ive not yet rang or discused priced, not sure what second hand tires are worth?
